Introduction
Feature is an app to connect social media influencers to paying clients. We transformed a fragmented, stalled project into a cohesive, fully functional app with new features and a polished user experience. Our leadership helped the team finish what they started and navigate a difficult app store approval process—resulting in a smooth launch aligned with the business goals.

The Challenge
Daquan, the CEO of Featrrr, had started a project with a distributed team of developers around the world, but the app was in disarray. The code lacked cohesion, key features were unfinished, and the overall architecture was fragmented. On top of that, Daquan needed new capabilities—like a chat function—to be built quickly to meet user expectations. The project was struggling to move forward and needed strong technical leadership to bring it all together.
How we Helped
We jumped in by taking an inventory of the existing codebase and scope. While building out new services such as the chat feature, we improved the app’s architecture incrementally to create a more maintainable foundation without slowing progress. At the same time, we revamped the UI/UX into a consistent, polished design that better reflected the product vision. - We took charge of completing unfinished work and managing the remaining developers, helping to keep the team focused and productive. One of the biggest hurdles came during app store approval—after facing nine rejections tied to the app’s payment model, we worked closely with Apple to clarify and adjust the approach, ultimately securing approval. This persistence paved the way for a successful launch with the intended business model fully intact.
